Why MFES Was Founded
In 1991, the owners of MFES recognized a troubling pattern — emergencies and disasters were on the increase worldwide, and families were consistently caught unprepared. Communities were suffering not just from the disasters themselves, but from the chaos that followed: missing identification, broken communication, and no plan in place.
Our founders are veteran insurance adjusters who spent years working for major insurance companies in the aftermath of major disasters — responding to claims, assessing damage, and witnessing the real human cost of being unprepared. They saw what others missed: that the right tools, in place before a disaster strikes, can make all the difference.
That experience became the foundation of My Family Emergency Services. MFES was built to give every family — men, women, and kids — the tools to face the challenges we all encounter from day to day.
